Year 10 students – Subject Selection

Most year 10 students will be in the process of choosing subjects for Year 11/12.

Whether you are a student or parent trying to work out which pathway to choose, a useful source of information is a Year 10’s guide to choosing courses for Year 11/12. This will help you link to resources to assist you in identifying your career ideas.

It is important not to feel too pressured and seek support from your school.

Usually students will be selecting courses to help them follow pathways into:
Apprenticeships/Traineeships
University
State Training Providers (formerly TAFE)
Private Training Providers
• Workforce


Study options for students is a great way to link to training providers to research training and study options.
