5 Reasons to Train with Challenger Institute

Challenger Institute of Technology received the Large Training Provider of the Year Award at the 2012 Australian Training Awards. The annual Training Awards recognise and reward the outstanding achievements of training organisations, as well as apprentices, trainees and vocational students.
Manager Career Development Services, Sue Fossilo says Challenger offers qualifications in more than 140 careers. Sue suggests that there are “five good reasons why there has never been a better time to study at Challenger “…….

1. Challenger’s highly successful Women in Engineering program
Now expanded to include diploma and advanced diploma scholarships, this program is delivered in partnership with industry sponsor Chevron Australia. Scholarship recipients study at Challenger’s world-class oil and gas simulated plant facility at the Australian Centre for Energy and Process Training (ACEPT).

2. Turn your diploma green with Challenger’s Diploma of Sustainability
Challenger students can increase the value of their current diploma by undertaking an additional 4 units to obtain a Diploma of Sustainability, in addition to their current diploma course.

3. Studying occupational health and safety has never been easier
With the certificate III, IV and Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety now delivered flexibly and via e-learning, students can start studying at any time and work at their own pace over a 6-month enrolment period.

4. Skip a rung on the career ladder
For those already working in management but looking to launch into a senior management role, Challenger’s fast track program could be what you’re after. The Advanced Diploma of Management allows you to have your current skills recognised, learn new skills, network with people in similar roles, and gain a nationally recognised qualification. The course is flexibly delivered.
