If you’ve ever considered a career in agriculture or would like to find out more about the exciting opportunities and advancements in the sector, come along to the Muresk Institute Open Day on Saturday 28 May.
The Open Day will showcase new techniques, technologies and careers in agriculture.
Have a chat to the training providers, universities, employers and industry bodies who will be on hand to provide agricultural course and career information.
Check out the live demonstrations including working sheep dogs, drones (unmanned aerial vehicles), quad bikes, vet nursing, low stress livestock handling and first aid.
Enjoy a barbecue lunch prepared by Master Butcher Vince Garreffa, as well as guided tours of the Muresk Institute farm, face painting and an animal petting zoo.
Muresk Institute is located in Northam (just over an hour drive from Perth CBD).
Gates are open from 9am till 3pm.
